So I know I haven't posted in forever. I have a hundred different reasons for not posting but I am going to try to make it more of a priority. I think that pretty much all of 2012 was spent just trying to make it through each day without falling apart....luckily most days were successful, but it was a constant struggle. Even today (over two years later) I am still trying to figure out how to deal with living my life without my mom. I know you could say, she is always with me, it gets easier with time, or just let it out. Truth is it hasn't really gotten any easier, I absolutely hate crying, and at times unbearable to not be able to hear her voice....
Now that it is 2013, I am ready to put the pain and sadness of the last two years behind me. I pretty much have the same goals as I did in 2012, but this year I am in a completely different mindset than I was last year. In fact, I have already actively started working some of them (which is good because the year is almost half over!). I will go into some of those more in another post...but if you want to know more, you can go to the

Onto my favorite topic... Emily!! It is amazing how your whole way of thinking changes and evolves as you grow as a parent. She is such a blessing, David and I literally take a moment every day to thank God for allowing us to be her parents. Below are pictures showing how much Emily has grown!
