Wednesday Weigh In - Week 1

I have been heavy my whole life.  Enough is enough... I am not going to go into all of the things that I would love to do but am apprehensive about because of my size.  Now that I have healed from the c-section, I have no more excuses.  Starting today 6/1/11, I am starting the point system from Weight Watchers and also going to get back into a work out routine.  Luckily for me, I have a fabulous cousin (Lisa) and friend (Debra) who are wanting to get rid of a little extra fluffiness themselves.  The plan is for us to help each other stay accountable and encourage each other through this journey.  We are going to weigh in and report to each other every Wednesday.

For extra accountability for myself, I am going to post a weekly photo along with a progress report.  I know not every week will go as I am grateful to have my partners in crime to help me stay focused.  This includes my wonderful hubby who has agreed to help me by preparing healthier meals and going to the gym with me.

Here goes!!  Pray for us.... I would say "Wish us luck"...but I don't believe in luck although I do believe in prayer.
